1. Who we are
This Privacy Notice describes how Statistic Trade ("we", "us") collects and processes your personal data when you use the Statistic Trade service. Statistic Trade acts as the data controller for the personal data described here.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
- Profile and journal data: trades, notes, screenshots and any content you choose to enter.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Usage and telemetry: actions performed within the Service, pages viewed, errors.
- Device and connection: device identifiers, browser, IP address.
Payment data (card number, billing address) is collected and processed directly by our payment provider Paddle. We do not store payment card details.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Provide the Service (account, journal, analytics) — performance of contract.
- Customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interest.
- Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest / legal obligation.
- Product improvement — legitimate interest, based on aggregated usage data.
- Marketing communications — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal obligation.
4. Sharing of data
We share personal data with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics and customer support tools that operate on our behalf.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle): for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting and tax advisers where necessary.
- Authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside your country, including outside the EEA / UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting and reporting obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it (e.g. transaction records).
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access your personal data, rectify it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. EEA / UK users also have the right to complain to their local supervisory authority. We respond to requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (one month under GDPR).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies needed for the Service to function (e.g. authentication). We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
